Wet grass

FAQ

  • My lawn hasn't been mowed for several weeks and is a bit overgrown...
On your very first mowing service, if the lawn is overgrown it can take 2-3 times longer to mow the grass. This initial cut will cost extra to establish defined edges and an appropriate grass length but after that your price will fall in alignment with the standard fees.
  • Do you offer Bi-Weekly service?
We require all clients to be on a weekly schedule from March till end of June. During the summer, you may switch to a bi-weekly schedule if your lawn is not growing quickly.
  • Does someone need to be home when you mow?
No. Your gate is required to be unlocked all day on your service day. If you prefer to keep your gate locked, the access code must be provided. Inaccessible grass areas will not be mowed and will cost extra to come back and mow.
  • What happens when it rains?
Your lawn will be mowed in light rain or after the rains subsides. Typically, if it rains heavily throughout the day, we will be there the next day, once the weather allows.
  • What about pets / yard debris?
Kindly leave your pet inside your home on your scheduled service days. All pet droppings, toys, large bones, large rocks, etc. are to be removed from your yard the day prior to mowing. Such objects create a hazardous work environment and can also cause serious damage to your property if hit by the mowing equipment.
  • Will you let me know when you're coming to do an application?
Absolutely! You will be contacted the day before your scheduled application.
  • Do I need to water my lawn after you fertilize it?
It depends. You will be notified in your post-service notes if the fertilizer applied to your lawn requires water to help the product break down and enter the soil faster.
  • When can I mow my lawn after an application?
Between 24-36 hours after the application.
